I actually think this is one of the valved exhausts that actually get quiet when the valve is closed, and loud when the valve is opened. It even sounds okay when the valve is open. It also comes in stainless steel either through AeroflowDynamics (AD) or through Alibaba if the Ti is too risky, I can't remember.

The things that prevented me from pulling the trigger on it was just lack of others buying it, it being an Alibaba exhaust, and also the amount of negative experiences people have had with AD (Reddit and other forums).
yea now im leaning towards the Miltek but people say the welds are bad are its too loud but on the other hand people are saying the welds on the AWE are bad but also better then the Miltek. also seen 2-3 people with videos showing the AWE making a very strange noise in the lowerer rpms. choosing an proper exhaust is very difficult. not like a 50$ shifter knob u cant just remove if you dont like lol

I've seen some of the welds on the Milltek. Some were good others were bad. AWE on the other hand. Their shit looks like someone from a mom and pop muffler shop on the corner somewhere welded it. 😂

Remark is a solid option with flanges and quality.

someone from AWE is on the DE5 forums right now pushing their exhaust. I found it odd she kept insisting the valve doesn't make a difference in sound though.

I've got a valved exhaust and it absolutely quiets it down when I put it in comfort mode while driving the wife around.

We have not had any complaints from our Milltek customers. That is what I run on my personal FL5. The biggest recommendation I can make is that if you have an aftermarket downpipe I strongly recommended a resonated option from Milltek. I'm also a big of the valve and will not let it go. 😁

Link to the resonated please.

Thank you. I'm going to get one no doubt. I'm getting my front windshield tinted next week " already did the sides and back". Then my ECU chipped in another four weeks / tune through you guys through drob. Then exhaust / intake upgrades. Then more fine tuning through drob no doubt. Appreciate you guys!
We appreciate you as well! We look forward to seeing your build progress.

It looks great. In fact really nice just not a fan of the sound.

A downpipe upgrade is not required for tuning but it makes more of a performance difference than any other bolt on part short of a turbocharger upgrade so we do typically recommend them strongly. You can absolutely tune without one though.
