Where in Florida are you? I’ll meet up with you for a track day.

I live in Port Saint Lucie. So 2 hours to Homestead Speedway, 2 hours to Daytona Raceway and 1.5 hours to Sebring raceway. lol pretty convenient. Especially if they open up Palm Beach Raceway again, less then an hour.
Orlando. I've been exclusively going to the FIRM because they have track days every weekend. So its way easier for schedule around that. Most of the tracks are 2 hours away from me.

Damn that’s like 4 hours from me! You going to do any track days at Sebring or Daytona?

Is there a website to buy this? The only website I can find it is on dream automotive and they are charging 600 or 700 for shipping in this part. Don’t know if is correct quote I remember I bought one when I owned my Evo X it was bigger than this one and I didn’t pay that much on shipping. But interested to try it on daily duty in combination with the accuty reverse flow hose I drive the car 2 hrs every day and average of 580 miles weekly on Texas I don’t see high oil temps but want to protect myself from a headache.

If you're interested I can set up an order for you, shoot me a message. Dream just added it to their website because I am sending them a batch of 10 to sell in the UK.

I would be open to doing that. Just let me know how many and if they are all going to the same location that makes it easier. I'm not sure if that's what you have in mind. Just let me know what you're thinking and we can see what we can do to make it work.

Lol yeah its a hike. 8 hour drive in one day.

I was planning on going to Sebring last month but had a car issues that caused a setback... (my fault lol). Tbh I'm a little scared of going since I'm still learning. So don't look at me for advice, I'd be just as lost as you 😅

Daytona is nearly impossible. Lots of events and very few ones that are HPDEs. Doesn't seem like a track thats very noob friendly.

There is this Autocross Event this April 26th here in Orlando. Looks like its novice friendly. We could register for that together. I can plan for that

This month im planning on doing the FIRM on the 11-12 and 18-19.

I have done a few with it on, and the temps were lower by an average of 10-15 degrees. Its hard to say if it was the plate though because I didn't do back to back runs with the OEM undertray.
In daily driving today after installing the plate yesterday, here are my observations after the engine was warmed up and during a 30 mile commute driving on highways:
  • To Work: No traffic, IATs varied between 10-20 degrees cooler (averaged ~15 degrees cooler).
  • Back Home: Heavy stop and go (10 MPH) traffic, IATs seemed about the same as compared using to the stock undertray.
In both cases, IATs drop much faster when on the gas. I am very happy with the plate although there are other items that should also be considered to help with cooling/shedding heat. So far, my car upgrades from stock include a turbo inlet pipe, intake, and this cooling plate. I also have an intercooler and hope to have time to install it this weekend. Once Summer heat arrives, I'll likely be looking to upgrade the radiator as well.

*EDIT* Totally missed the boat on this one. Today, I was paying attention to IATs and not coolant temps.
