That could make sense on a time attack car but I would be worried about the trans fluid getting too hot and also not getting proper warm up with the method used. I can't say for sure but those would be my concerns.
With my kit you'll have 2 options for install. Bypassing the piece you are...
No sir, the transmission cooler will run independent of the coolant. The trans cooler will just be bolted up to the back side of the radiator, and then links to the transmission. The goal is to allow the coolant to run independent of the transmission
I want to share some pretty exciting news for the Type R track community! I have been working with PWR over the past couple of months and they/we will be releasing 2 versions of a triple pass radiator for the FL5 (and possibly the FK8 depending on demand).
One version will be the PWR version...

Yes. This will have the same fitment as the current PWR 42mm track spec.
On the HPT triple pass, in order to make some aftermarket intakes work it requires the fan shroud to be cut. HPT is modifying their design so as to not require this moving forward.

I'm happy to hear. It's why we have this design with the elevated mounting points so as to #1 clear different front pipes while #2 also not having to compromise on vent design (allows for the main massive front vent beneath the down pipe).
