How difficult is tearing the console apart? thats the only part im dreading
It's not that bad at all. I haven't had any problems, at least. Acuity provides excellent thorough instructions that might seem a little overwhelming, but there's not much too it. Between shifter parts, stereo upgrades and interior lighting kits, I've had it all torn apart a few times now. I'd say the pry tools would be a good idea if you're not feeling it, but I've always just done the prying with with my fingers.

Any issues with those clips that hold the wires for the sport/econ button inside under the shift boot

They were tight the first time, I'm sure there's a more graceful way, but I just shoved a screw driver under and pried till they popped. At this point they are still secure but not a pita to pop out.

they have push tabs on the back of them. the tabs are on top and bottom on the back. use something to push them down and pull

How in the F' did yours show up before mine did.. still haven received mine... man:doh::bs:

So how do you like it??:hmm:
I know i was planning on doing it together while you work on yours, I ended up leaving work at 11am today and it showed up at 1230pm :)

I was just to impatient and wanted it in there now!

They really did a great job. It makes a big difference while shifting, i also feel like that crunch into gears is gone with pretty much a more solid feel on the shifter.

I felt it out before driving and didn't feel much of a difference, after i drove it i was pretty much surprised how much difference it makes. The play is pretty much minimized by a large margin.

Now just waiting for their short shifter next month :)

Guys just a side note, Those of you that are hesitant to take apart the center console, Don't be. It was very simple. I had it taken apart very quickly.
