  1. Icehawk's "OEM+" speaker upgrade

I published a sub ring model you can print yourself or send me a few bucks and I can send you one. It's only 1/4" thick, can make it deeper, but icehawk knows what he's talking about, not much to be gained with a larger sub in the tiny box. FL5 sub ring 3d print

  3. New York [SOLD]BONOSS 5x120 15mm 7075-T6 spacer

I want to do the same! Can we split this up?
  4. Icehawk's "OEM+" speaker upgrade

Finished up rears and sub today. Much improved and will keep me from messing with amps etc for now. I drafted and printed an adapter ring for the sub. Idk if it's totally necessary but here's the file for people to print. Subwoofer adapter ring stl file
  5. Icehawk's "OEM+" speaker upgrade

Might have been covered, but not seeing it. Does the same Ai HSB524 speaker adaptors fit the rears as well? Ordered the ES-5 and contemplating just reusing the stock like @Yorkman1
  6. Icehawk's "OEM+" speaker upgrade

Ah yeah, i scrolled right past that. Thanks man, got it ordered and will report back.
  7. Icehawk's "OEM+" speaker upgrade

Thanks for sharing your experience @Icehawk Just got done updating the fronts following your advice and it's quite a noticeable improvement. Went with the DRT-25s. Cut a small slit in the A-pillar mounting ring to give some room to expand and the new tweeter squeezed right in. Secured with...
  8. FL5 Steering Rack on Backorder?

In the same boat. Just got a 2025 FL5 at the end of the year, not even 1500 miles on it. Noticed a clicking noise when turning and yesterday the dealership reported back with a failed electronic steering gear box. No ETA

Looks like the short throw adapter is available! https://acuityinstruments.com/products/acuity-short-throw-adapter-for-the-10th-gen-civic3 Not sure when it went live, but I just ordered mines!
  10. The Official ACUITY Instruments CivicX product launch thread!

They were tight the first time, I'm sure there's a more graceful way, but I just shoved a screw driver under and pried till they popped. At this point they are still secure but not a pita to pop out.
  11. The Official ACUITY Instruments CivicX product launch thread!

It's not that bad at all. I haven't had any problems, at least. Acuity provides excellent thorough instructions that might seem a little overwhelming, but there's not much too it. Between shifter parts, stereo upgrades and interior lighting kits, I've had it all torn apart a few times now...
  12. The Official ACUITY Instruments CivicX product launch thread!

Put the rocker arm in two days ago. Have everything else installed up to this point. Pretty drastic improvements in my opinion. The side to side throw distance is greatly reduced. Much stiffer and solid feeling throws. Almost no play when in gear or neutral. Looking forward to the short throw...

If I could I would give them my cc info and just subscribe to whatever they pump out.
  14. Introducing ACUITY's New Performance Shifter Centering Spring!

I've had a few days of driving with the new spring and am very pleased. The extra preload is very apparent when center neutral, but it doesn't mean that your shifts side to side are going to be restrictive. Feels like just a small amount of extra force is required, but it's very comfortable...
  15. Introducing ACUITY's New Performance Shifter Centering Spring!

Race ya! I've torn into it a few times now between console illumination, new head unit, and the bushing installs. Also, there's a few less steps with the sport compared to the Si. I can skip 11b-11f and just pull the console since there's no usb under the armrest.
  16. Introducing ACUITY's New Performance Shifter Centering Spring!

Just got done installing in my sport and the new spring was immediately noticeable. The little bit of play with stock spring when sitting in neutral is tightened up and shifts are firm without requiring a lot of extra force. 1/2 are nice and easy to get to with R taking a little more push. I...
