I just thought of adding the suspension settings, as many inquire. Going forward you can also enter that information.

Traction Control: +R Long Press, Pedal Dance, Short Press, TC On
Shock Setting: Comfort, Sport, +R, Comfort DE5, Sport DE5, Sport+ DE5
(use DE5 if using DE5 Module)

If anyone that entered time(s) already, let me know f you would like to me to edit it, and i'll add it.
Yes please update for me. Both entries I leave TC on. Shock settings on +R.

I'm still a beginner with this car. I'm no Randy Pobst or Max Verstappen. Lol
  • The car is too refined and valuable for me to push beyond my limits. I'm genuinely afraid of crashing this beautiful build, and I’m okay sacrificing a second or two per lap if it means I can ensure the car makes it home safely. I had several oversteer moments that day because the rear tires were too cold (weather 35f to 55f), so I decided to dial it back and avoid taking further risks. It will be a different story if it was a 20yrs old civic.
  • I tried the long hold to turn off VSA before, but I didn’t notice much difference.
  • I’ll attempt the pedal dance to fully disable traction control soon. Hopefully, I’ll have better luck in warmer weather.

The DE5 suspension controller is great here. I previously ran the FL5 unit and +R was far too stiff for this track. Pedal dance is needed to save the rear brakes. I’m faster with pedal dance and DE5 controller than I was with either FL5 controller +R long press or FL5 pedal dance.

I am having an issue with the PWR radiator with a small leak that only occurs at high temps with track driving. So far I’m unable to replicate in normal driving. It appears to be a small crack that doesn’t exist at normal temps. More to follow once diagnosed.

Next needed mod is suspension so I can achieve more negative camber to avoid destroying the soft sidewall PS4 tires.

The outer edge of the tires is completely worn, and throughout Turn 2, you can hear them screaming in protest. This is only my second time driving the Type R on this track. The last time I was here, it was on stock tires and suspension.

This is probably a silly question but you are sure it isn't the expansion tank leaking down to somewhere near the radiator?

The expansion tank isn’t near the leak I’m seeing. The apparent leak is on the right side (when facing the engine) behind the fan. I can’t see how any fluid from the expansion tank (on the left side) would reach that location.
