The 18x9.5 +45 has a Profile 1 face, which isn’t concave (3rd page of their gallery).I just want to see them on the FL5 first. And curious how concave they'll be.
Which offset sits flush with the fenders w/o crazy camber (over 2.5)?The 18x9.5 +45 has a Profile 1 face, which isn’t concave (3rd page of their gallery).
The 18x9.5 +35 has a Profile 2 face, which I’m assuming has a flat face.
But, I would also like to see actual photos of them on an FL5 before pulling the trigger.
For FL5, the 18x9.5" ET45 is going to sit as flush as possible without requiring any camber.Which offset sits flush with the fenders w/o crazy camber (over 2.5)?
This isn't just a Civic Type-R issue unfortunately. We ended up having to push quite a few of our planned ML-10RT photoshoots. FL5 just so happened to be one of the chassis that got the short end of the stick there.I have been asking for photos on a type R for almost 2 months. It stinks they haven’t followed through yet.
I understand delays completely. What stinks is that for people that are/were interested in the wheels, but wanted to see them before a potential purchase, missed out on the pre sale deal and now the Black Friday deal. Yet there have been 20+ different BMWs pictured with the wheels. It is what it is but just wanted to voice how I felt. I will wait until yall get them pictured with an FL5.For FL5, the 18x9.5" ET45 is going to sit as flush as possible without requiring any camber.
The 18x9.5" ET35 is going to be a bit more aggressive, but the camber required is going to be ride height and tire size dependent. Another thing to keep in mind is that you will need at least a 2mm spacer up front to clear the brakes for the 18x9.5" ET35 as that's originally a BMW wheel and the spoke shape isn't intended for Civic Type-R brakes.

It's understandable from their perspective. There's a WHOLE lot of BMWs out there compared to TypeR's.I understand delays completely. But do you need to take photos of each BMW? Lol. The idea is the same for each BMW.It's understandable from their perspective. There's a WHOLE lot of BMWs out there compared to TypeR's.
How much concavity for the ET45?For FL5, the 18x9.5" ET45 is going to sit as flush as possible without requiring any camber.

The 18x9.5" ET45 is a Profile 1 wheel so it will have very mild concavity. How much concavity for the ET45?

IMO (having tried multiple modes on track), you should have run the comparison with the FL5 in Comfort with the pedal dance, but thanks for all the awesome content! The wheels look great either way.The 10 series sprint and 5.

When we timed the cars originally on our track comfort vs +R was only .5 seconds difference. (Comfort faster) There was in no world where the CTR was going to catch that car with how the GR was setup. But funny enough the car stayed about 1.5 corners back in 15 minutes.IMO (having tried multiple modes on track), you should have run the comparison with the FL5 in Comfort with the pedal dance, but thanks for all the awesome content!
