When we timed the cars originally on our track comfort vs +R was only .5 seconds difference. (Comfort faster) There was in no world where the CTR was going to catch that car with how the GR was setup. But funny enough the car stayed about 1.5 corners back in 15 minutes.
I've never been to Autobahn but it must be really smooth for that - I'd have expected (and have experienced) a bigger delta - but glad to know you tried it! Ultimately, Jack cheated with metric dollars and while we all understand his desperation, ultimately V8-T injections only get you so far in life.

Fun facts though, 18x11 ET44 Apex w/285/30R18 fit just fine under stock FL5 fenders without rubbing, let's see that GRC do that. 😂

18x9.5 +35 ML-10RT. 275/35 tires, Swift springs. I’ll take better photos tomorrow, they barely clear the brakes. They don’t rub, but I’m sure they’ll rub on the track. I might be installing my EVS Tuning Offset Camber Joints tomorrow so I’ll definitely take more photos of fitment after that. My lens was being a little strange so the photos aren’t sharp.
Wait, you got the wheels that fast? Thought you were still on the fence just a week or so ago?

What? I'm still waiting for my invoice to be paid for the hot tip. 😂
Haha yes once you show me how to actually take advantage of this setup at NCM I'll pay up. Just gotta shave off 15 seconds a lap 🤣

What’s the clearance between the front calipers? Really dig these wheels.
I’m unable to measure but by the naked eye it looks like I can just squeeze a penny in between.

So where’s that post where you said the last set of wheels was your “last” set? 😆

I might have to get these next year. In the meantime I’ll have to come up with a reason why I need 4 sets of wheels for this car.

LOL. This is my only set right now (total of 5 Apex wheels). I sold the ZE40’s and the Titan7’s 🤪.

Any reason you stayed away from 35 side wall? Would 35 rub?

That would be pretty tall - not sure if it would rub or not but 285/30R18 gives a gearing advantage everywhere and has less chance of rubbing (especially in the rear where I couldn't do camber this year), so it didn't make sense to look at 285/35R18.

My guess is though yes, on stock suspension it would likely rub - it's taller than stock (25.9" OD for 285/35R18 vs. 25.3" OD for stock 265/30R19 vs. 24.7" OD for 285/30R18). I've learned to always go small on OD when trying aggressive fitments. :)
