Sometimes you just need to keep your OEM wheels.

Alternative solution: wheel cribs or drive your car year round (depending on your location) šŸ™ƒ.

They would a great winter wheel and if you damage your aftermarket wheel. These oem wheels can get you out of a pinch while you wait for a replacement and that could take forever.

Very few cars come with good looking OEM wheels, the Type R OEM wheels actually look good and work well with the design for the car. Although not a huge fan of black wheels and wish they had done a different color I will say that with this car actually work pretty good. Wish they had been 18s and a little better fitment (and lighter, they heavy...) but still a great wheel, will definitely not sell em and put em on once in a while.

At least you weren't like me and hit the sideview going into the garage šŸ¤¦šŸ½ā€ā™‚ļø

i know thats a rough one, when i had my daughter one day like still infant, i had to take her out before going into my garage.
I got her out, took her inside....then i just hopped back into the car and the garage wall closed my door for me that i left open after getting her out. So I know that feeling pretty well.

Sorry about your mirrror my guy, i dont even want to know the cost of a simple mirror it wiuld piss me off for you. lol

you know what man, its not that bad, and thats gonna work. It didnt even cross my mind! I am in baltimore, the dealer orders all of them with fucking summer tires, i was looking at something lighter weight when i switch the tires over to some continental dsw06s . amazing all season tire, i ran them on my '16 wrx. i got on it just a little the other evening, and it got scary quick those bitches just slide.

black marker it is, cause i dont have $3500 for some 20lb rims lol Thanks for the idea my guy. so simple and it never came into my thought process!

A black sharpie can work wonders on moderate/minor curb rash. Scraped mine 5 months ago, applied the black sharpie , and it still looks intouched (unless you are getting really close).

Call a wheel repair shop. Usually it’s cheap to repair black wheels. Painted wheels at easy.

Not your dealer’s fault. Summer tires is what the FL5 comes with. There’s no other option. Yes, you can get Cup 2’s (basically track tires), but that’s not even an ā€œoptionā€ I don’t think. It’s something the dealer would have to order separately, the same way they would order other accessories, like floor mats.
