Love 27won, but God the price is insane for something heavier than stock95% sure it was $2,694 for turbo back and $2,094 for cat-back.

I mean, it's $2k and includes the front pipe. You're not finding a quality exhaust for under $2k that I've seen. Where did you see the weight of this exhaust?Love 27won, but God the price is insane for something heavier than stock
Believe it was earlier in this thread where someone mentioned it was heavier and 27won confirmedI mean, it's $2k and includes the front pipe. You're not finding a quality exhaust for under $2k that I've seen. Where did you see the weight of this exhaust?
Well, I'm not surprised as I'm sure most stainless steel exhausts are.Believe it was earlier in this thread where someone mentioned it was heavier and 27won confirmed
Yeah, the (teaser) sound, design and materials are top notch as always, but you usually see 27won put a lot of effort into weight reduction too. Looking back, @Tougefl5 mentioned that Vlad has said it was 70lbs.Well, I'm not surprised as I'm sure most stainless steel exhausts are.
He said 70lb was for the lightest version they have.Yeah, the (teaser) sound, design and materials are top notch as always, but you usually see 27won put a lot of effort into weight reduction too. Looking back, @Tougefl5 mentioned that Vlad has said it was 70lbs.
This is an accurate statement, but not 20+ lbs. over stock. Doubtful there's an exhaust on offer that weighs that much.Well, I'm not surprised as I'm sure most stainless steel exhausts are.
About ~70 lbs for the lightest catback version (non-res) so not something I'd call a weight savings mod. Primarily a function of using 80MM (3.125 inch) piping through the majority of the system and the mufflers in the axleback to keep drone at bay
The catback is the one that comes after the mid pipe or whatever is the name of the one under the engine95% sure it was $2,694 for turbo back and $2,094 for cat-back.
I got mine installed a few weeks ago now. Here is a few clips.Sooo... anyone have more sound clips of this exhaust? I'm planning to get the catback version, but I would love some turbo back sound clips to tide me over until then.
I think it looks great poking out a bit more and the tips are massive.Sounds great! I'm a little concerned with how far the tips stick out compared to stock...
Would love a few more photos from different angles to show the poke. Sounds good! Sounds a lot louder. How much louder would you say it is and have you noticed any drone? With the valve closed does it quite down much?I think it looks great poking out a bit more and the tips are massive.
Is this with the resonated version or aftermarket downpipe + resonator removed ?I got mine installed a few weeks ago now. Here is a few clips.
The first two are right after install, cold start and fuse for valve was pulled (so it's open) also sorry sister got confused by the manual when I was getting her to rev it.
The third clip is a short one from my autocross day.
It's much louder than stock but not over bearing. It's loud on install but settles a bit over 100-200miles. I put a clip of the interior noise cruising at 70mph. Music will easily wash out the noise on the highway. As for drone, it seems to have some when trying to accel/decel in low revs in 5th or 6th gear. But its not constant if your traveling and the valve helps a little bit in comfort mode.Would love a few more photos from different angles to show the poke. Sounds good! Sounds a lot louder.
