Cant seem to find anyone who has ran a 40 series sidewall and is lowered on springs. Anyone have any info on whether its driveable/rubs? my assumptions is that it does, but i havent found anyone who has actually tried.

My winter wheels have 255/40/18 tires on them and I have eibach pro kit springs that I have the time to install now instead of waiting for spring time

My FK8 got stolen so I'm getting an FL5! So I need some 18s for pothole protection as it's my daily.

What are my options for 18x9.5 ET60 wheels?
I do not want to stick out more than stock. ET55 if need be, but ET50 is too much.

Does anyone have a picture of strut clearance? I'm assuming if ET60 19x9.5 fits stock, then 18x9.5 ET60 will too.

Must I buy custom forged?

I purchased 100 different shades of powder coat white to try and match it to my paint….anyone interested in this? Lol.

Would love to know if you find a close match to Championship White.

That looks much better at stock height than I would’ve expected. Is it poking with the stock alignment settings?

This is if I black out the edges…you really can barely tell that there is any color difference except for one of them has a slightly different texture and one of them is lighter by a little.

Yeah the first 2 look identical to CW. What are the color codes of those samples and who makes them?

Yeah there is a slight poke. Hopefully it doesn’t rub once the springs go on

FL5 distant cousin ;) wheels purchased from @System Motorsports (highly recommend them).

Haven't seen too many FL5's/DE5's running this wheel so wanted to share - hope this helps with your decision making. Spent way too much time than I care to admit going through this thread before purchasing lol.

Lowered on H&R Springs (springs not settled in yet when pics were taken)

Thought about running a 40 series tire but am happy with the extra sidewall and "cushion" the 275/35 provides. 40 would've been overkill for local roads/conditions
