I work for the company so I got a deal. It was around 3 hours of labor so you'd have to check what the labor rate is where you go. If you know how to take the stuff apart yourself, just leave the cluster in there with everything else already taken out/replaced, and have them do the program and install to save as much as possible. Every store is going to be different. I have also been taking my Honda's to this store for around 20 years.
Did you flash your car or stock when you brought it in? I seen youre tuned i havent brought my car to the dealer since being tuned.

My dealership doesn't care if that helps. They know me too though.

Yes, I almost always flash to stock before going to the dealer. Don't want to have any issues with the programming.

That's fucked! Well, better bring your tools I guess. Luckily it's not that hard to swap them out once you have the OEM cluster ready to pull out. Hope you know how to pull the steering wheel apart to replace the harness and button clusters. I don't know why a Honda store wouldn't swap out a cluster. What if yours was broken?

one of them doesn't install it because its not direct replacement the other said they'd only do it if i bought the parts through them although they are factory sealed parts. it has to be through that dealership i get the parts.

I didnt think they'd do that as i work for the parts/service department at a service center for another company and we have customers that bring their own parts and we do the work.

$200/hr labor rates are another thing to top it off id almost prefer to do majority of the install myself if only i could program it lmao

I assume i can find enough different videos of people doing things with surrounding parts to get it all done myself aside from the program.

$200 an hour is INSANE! That's supercar repair shop rates.

The service center i work at sells/services vehicles that are well over a million for some with the cheapest being like 300k and thats higher than our labor rate its ridiculous

The only part you need to have Honda do is program the cluster for the swap, but you'd literally have to swap the cluster out in the service drive or dealer lot in order to not have a mileage discrepancy. I don't understand why they wouldn't be able to just pull out the old cluster and put the new one in and bolt it up if you already had everything ready to be unplugged/unbolted.

Basically get it to this point and then have them program and pull the old one and put the new one in it's place and you will put everything back together yourself.
