No. No special spring that I’m aware of. I took my car in for an oil change and they just happened to have kits on-hand. My dealership is small and wouldn’t coincidentally have specialized parts in inventory.I thought maybe it had to do with new grease needing moved around. The trip back to my house from the dealer is around 25 mins and I kept working the steering to see if it improved. Never did. I'm wondering if there is a different return spring for the Type R that needed to be used instead of maybe the typical civic. Our steering most likely has different assist rate considering the changes suspension and much larger tires, but I'm guessing at this point.
