my break down is as suck: don't beat me down too hard:
$43,990+$400 (Boost Blue)+$10,000 (ADM)+$3100 (Forged Wheels)+$2250 (Carbon Wing)+$5000 (6years/100k warranty)+$1500 (5 years full wheel/tire/glass protection) = $66,240 + 10% (roughly) = $72,864 OTD...

Wish I could have talked the $5k warranty down or delete, but I figure I'd get it anyways...if I track car and engine blows, I get new engine correct?

But above is my honest break down, nothing hidden...let the barrage begin?

EDIT: The dealer prolly would have sold me the car with just the ADM, but I want those items that I've listed above anyways.

Holy shit 70k civic.

I know...started adding stuff up, and at the end, couldn't pull myself to delete any of the additional items. and thus the bill got ran up...the only thing I think I F-ed up on is the $5k extended warranty. I've should have at least try a little harder to talk that down to $3k or something...I know it's not $5k...someone else on these forum will get the same and it'll be like $1,999 or something low like that.

I think the R is a fantastic car for 40k but not at the price of a fully loaded M2 or a CT4 blackwing. I hope you’re a millionaire.

Well you got a deal on the wing at least, baked install into into the ADM. I could see springing for the wing and wheels but more down the road after initial purchase and definitely in cash. I could see low $50k’s out the door but above that I’d be out. More than anything, nice job going for it and locking it up. More than I would pay all at once but we are all different.

i've canceled several extended warranties because i ended up not keeping the car past the original warranty period. they pro-rate it a bit typically. some people like the piece of mind and some people actually get their money back out of the warranty. i'd never talk someone out of the warranty but setting that $6500 aside for repairs is also a decent way to go. enjoy the car!

Why not just delete it - believe that should be an easy savings there - then look outside if you want an extended warranty etc. I know the site joinyaa.com looks to sell extended warranties that they 'claim' beat the typical dealerships.
Regardless - wow! Gotta ask - what wheels did you wind up getting - for that cost -I would have gone with some Volks?

They told me March.
Which is good for me because I wasn't planning on winter driving it!
Likewise, I was told if they get one it will be spring as well but nothing official yet. I put a small deposit down incase they do get a car...kinda disappointed black and blue aren't being offered on the cdn site...

Look the CTR is cool but at $72k you really, really should consider other options. I beg you to.

And every item on that list is hideously overpriced :(

I mean you wanted the car and you got it. Dont stress about overpaying and if another guy gets come for less.

As long you get your car and you're happy; thats all that matters. Congrats man!

I feel like someone created this thread to just blast what people are paying. I was going to post for reference, but not to the tune of these comments, and what I paid wasn’t that bad. ALSO, people paying that price aren’t making it hard for you to get one. Either pay or don’t, and leave people alone who do. Pretty easy. Congrats to everyone who’s getting one šŸ¤˜šŸ½

My "concern" is someone paying $5,000 for an extended warranty when they retail for $1,500. Disclosed ADM is one thing, marking stuff up 300% knowing most customers don't know better? That's old school dealership BS I won't put up with.

I don't think anyone has been blasted (yet) - I do think someone who is willing to go to $60k+ should take a hard look at their options but I get for some this is all-or-nothing. If this your dream car, you want it now, and can afford it I understand even if I'm smh in private.

I'll just be over here perusing used 911 and Mustang Bullitt ads and thinking about how much I like donuts.

Prices for the FK8 are dropping too...
