Found coolant on my garage floor. Leaking from expansion tank. Long term will probably end up with a Mishimoto.

Are expansion tanks in stock at dealers now? Some of the older threads indicate there was a back order.

19101-5BF-G01 is the Part number and it looks to be available not on back order.

This should be a Honda warranty, correct? :what:

Yesterday I finally got around to installing the Acuity shifter cable bushings and Hybrid Racing detent springs. I was a bit intimidated by the install, but it wasn't too bad once I got my hands dirty. I was slowed down quite a bit by the 10mm bolt I dropped and had to recover 😅

Echoing the praise this mod already has, it really tightens up an already incredible transmission.

I also have the shifter base bushings, I can see the install is a bit more cumbersome and not sure it is worth the hassle at the moment

Its always the 10mm! 🤣

I installed the shifter cable bushings on my Sport Touring. I have the detent springs, but haven't installed them yet, hoping to add them soon.

I have shifter base bushings too, its the same that it can be intimidating too, but once you get the center console apart, its an easy install, totally worth the hassle. Just make sure you get the bolts in the center console under the rubber mat and the ones under the cup holder.

Yes, but they are on backorder and I don't believe the design is changed so these can still fail. Replacing with an aftermarket one means you won't have to deal with it potentially again.

Should be covered but got in a slight argument with my dealer about making sure they have one on hand at my time of service. Service is booked out until next Friday - so a week and a half. I talked to the parts department and there is plenty of stock of the tanks at the distribution center in Iowa but the dealership does not have any in stock currently. I asked the service writer to preemptively order one so I don't drop my car off 10 days from now and then have to wait another coupe of days for them to get the part and install it - which I would think would be better for them as well. In a nice way they said no - that they could not trust a customer diagnosis and that a tech needed to be the one to requisition the part.

For all that racket I would order a new one and bring them the old tank and see if they can cover. Or drive leaky car to service guy before changing. If not oh well time is money.

My local dealer did this for me with a battery on my 2020 Si. It’s the only reason I still buy cars from them and paid a small markup on my R. They usually help me out with stuff like this.

Battery left Si dead. Drove to dealer in 04 Civic and talked to service guy. He said same thing need to diagnose/test. I said not towing the car here blah blah sell me new battery I bring you old one you can test. Replaced battery drove to dealer with old battery/failed test and they covered.

After owning the car for several months, I found that the stock exhaust was too quiet for my liking. I opted to remove the front small resonator and replace it with 304 piping. The car now produces an incredible sound with the valve open all the time. Additionally, it's convenient that we can revert the valve to its stock position, resulting in a much quieter exhaust in comfort mode. I experience zero drone when cruising on the highway.

This sounds great! Very tempted to do this as well if your zero drone claims are true. Do we have any info on whether it's better to delete the front resonator or rear one?
