Does anyone have any experience installing the PWR intercooler?
Their online description suggest that it is a true drop in install. Can anyone verify this?
Class racing rules state I cannot modify any of the body panels, fascias, or structural members to install, so I am looking for solutions.
Watch the Gears and Gasoline video and decide for yourself

Just keep in mind that YouTubers never show the entire install because it’s boring. They also skip or don’t mention hiccups. Then there’s the aspect where they keep using the same brands so you’re definitely not going to hear anything negative about it.

Triple pass radiator from WOT came pretty well packaged. The box was thick and the inlet outlet were protected with foam. Weighs in at 19 pounds. Welds look good enough with a little unevenness in a few places but nothing crazy.

Godzilla approves 🤣

Yesterday was a pretty eventful day at the track!! I was able to meet @Icehawk and finally break the sub 1:40 barrier at Homestead Miami Speedway!!

I also recently became MSF Level II certified. I’ll post more details about it in my build thread. I highly recommend getting certified it’s an amazing learning experience and really helped me grow as an instructor and driver.

Great meeting you, had a ton of fun. Easy group to run with, hassle free. Also, our car take 12.78 gallons, how do I know? Ran out of gas in the driveway of a nearby gas station between sessions!

I was pleased with a 1:51:09 considering, would definitely run there again. I'd love to do it in a car I was willing to push harder because I'm pretty sure I could have flat footed turn 1 & 10 if I wasn't thinking "screwing this up will cost me $$$". I definitely struggled a bit with some lines, my ingrained habits aren't the best racing line :D

Also, I hate dudes with sticky rubber in front of me. I got a rock to the face on one lap!

Teaching is such a good way to learn. I'm a terrible passenger or else instructing would eventually be my goal.

While iracing does service updates they let you try any of the cars on any track for free so I went and got the type R TCR (fk8) on VIR full course (been a while since I had done full course on the sim, I had just done ViR north a few weeks ago). What a great track, really pumped me up for coming down in May hopefully. Best time was a 2:08:207 after doing a few laps, thats pretty slow for that car in that track but I am a iracing noob and didn’t play enough. That said made me feel how fast @PointByPatrol goes on that track,l cuz even at my crapy sim time it felt like I was flying. The 2 straights are crazy and I think max speed I hit was 139?. I am buying this car today l, think track is free so I can do a few more laps, I been playing the m2 cs racing and compared to the fk8 that car is a handful lol.

I think I'll spend a bit finding a sim seat today. I need to play AC more and give iracing a try as well. Plus, my 5yo LOVES Forza Horizon 5 so I'm really getting the seat for her right? šŸ˜‚

getting an alum rig + bucket has changed everything, I been playing everyday lol. iracing can be annoying and its hard to get into to but nothing like winning a race in iracing, the competition is crazy. Its pretty fun.

I did not want a crazy uncomfortable bucket so I got one of these

actually pretty damn comfortable, can seat on this thing all day long vs a real bucket like an NRG (actually bought one but it was a bit tight and uncomfortable, I am a big dude though). Now I need to upgrade the pedals and wheel lol
