Do you help coordinate shipping? Any idea how much to ship to Atlanta? I may be interested in a no hassle msrp deal but probably only on SGP or black. But ideally would like to find something closer to me to where I don’t have to pay extra for shipping. Thanks
I failed to mention that this deal would be for Florida locals only, we do out of state deals but selling price would $49k. Only because we can’t offer you any after-sale support. Plus I don’t have any of the 2 colors you want. My dealership is only getting CW and BBP for the next 2 months.

Hi - Long time lurker here. Any recommendations on Houston area dealers who now might be willing to sell at MSRP (or very close)? When I looked about 8 months ago, I couldn’t find anyone under +10K. Hopefully things have improved!

I have a connection in PA that has an SGP and BB for an MSRP deal if you are willing to do a 1 way car rental, flight or have it shipped. PM me and I can supply the salesman's info. I also have a contact for an auto shipper with great rates.

Just call all of them, tell each you’re calling all of them and first one to MSRP wins. At this point, you might even want to try, first one $1k below MSRP wins.

Not Honda Sport of Silver Spring. Went there yesterday to look at this one. While I didn't try to negotiate, I asked the salesman if it was MSRP or markup. He laughed, said it was 8k markup...followed by "cmon bro, you know how it is. I'm sure you did research on this." So I just said no thanks and walked out.

Where in PA?

To me, it's not worth it to spend lot of time to call dozens of dealers around you, not even saying out-of-state.
I sent email/quote request online to about 5 dealers, briefly talked/text message to 3 of them. The whole process took 2 days. I paid about $1100 above msrp on 5/28.
I think no need to argue $1000 on a $46,300 car.

Well done, 2% over sticker is nothing in the grand scheme of things and you saved yourself a lot of time and headache.

If anyone’s still looking for a new Civic Type R, my dealer has 3 Champ whites selling for MSRP plus $1995 which includes a 10yr/120k miles powertrain warranty(our dealer works on and builds modified cars, from OEM plus to 600+ whp builds), wheel locks, Type R Trunk tray and OEM Type R High wall mats.

Hit me up.

To save time for some folks who are searching in the DMV area, these dealerships told me today they will not sell at msrp:
  • Bill Page Honda of Falls Church VA. (4900 mark up + other fees)
  • Jim Coleman Honda of Clarksville, MD (uknown mark up)
  • Honda of Greenbelt, MD

My dealer just got allocated a Rally Red and Sonic Gray Pearl, so if anyone's looking for those colors hit me up.

Just got a CW one on Friday for MSRP. Wanted to share my experience for those still shopping around, while my experience could be purely luck.

I had visited 2 dealers in person, one was advertising 10k mark up, while the other I had contacted via email and didn't seem interested in selling at msrp. Well, both offered to sell at MSRP when I was there. For both dealers, I did go 30 min prior to them closing, and on an off peak day (Sun and Wed). I did the same routine, turned away when they said there is mark up, and both ended up agreeing to MSRP.

Perhaps, when feasible, dropping by a dealer near closing, might result in higher chance of getting one at msrp vs emailing. And perhaps it's bc they don't want the emailed quote being used to purchase a car elsewhere? IDK, just wanted to share!

I’ve been shopping for a Boost Blue FL5 for the past week and the whole CDk issue made motoringobssion useless since the inventory was incorrect. I’ve been contacting most of the dealers around NJ and nobody wanted to budge from their mark up of 5-10k and kept trying to get me to walk in. I was pretty sure someone would call on Saturday since it was end of month but no luck. On a whim I called a dealer in PA about 30 miles out and they told me straight up no add ons and sale at MSRP. I left a deposit and picked it up later at night. This was Conicelli Honda and they still have 2 white ones in stock in case anyone is looking. They had a 10k mark up on the sticker but told me over the phone there was none so pretty sure you can just call and ask.

Figured I'd mention this for anyone in the Westchester/southern NY area. White Plains Honda gave me my CW (no add-ons) for a 1600 markup with no negotiation ($47895). Other dealers in the area are still around 5-10K over.

They seem to be selling as they come in, but their next one is a Sonic Grey if someone is in the market.
