I only have 500 miles on my FL5. I do feel 2nd and reverse are not as smooth as others. I did have grind at least once. So I always pull harder when switching to these two gears.
To me, it's not worth it to spend lot of time to call dozens of dealers around you, not even saying out-of-state.
I sent email/quote request online to about 5 dealers, briefly talked/text message to 3 of them. The whole process took 2 days. I paid about $1100 above msrp on 5/28.
I think no need...
The manual has information about sonar sensors, but I don’t think they are on my FL5. I watched some videos about FL5 in Asian countries, there is a circle thing on the front grille, above the red letter “R”. I believe it’s the sensor.
I think my trans (200 miles now) is not that clear when changing gears, have to push/pull a little hard to ensure it's engaged. Happened at lease 2 times, on reverse and 2nd. I did pull the stick, but it's not fully engaged.
I remember someone said after break in it will be better.
I realized another reason why I don’t like to press the clutch all the way down. i don’t need to lift my heel and move, heel just stay at one point and move my foot palm, so I can feel and find the friction point much easier.
It’s still showing 80 in my manual, I used that number to check my wheels yesterday, and found out no wheel lock key coming with the car. I also checked tire pressure, all 53. I believe the dealership did nothing for pre-delivery inspection.
