Oh wow that is definitely disappointing to know. I just reached out to them via email asking for special BF deals.. Let see what they response with and I will update everyone here.

On another note, I've been eyeing this kit since late sept ish, and noticed that they used to have a bundle discount (intake and the turbo inlet) but looks like they stop offering this. I also notice the price for the turbo inlet is now higher than when I first looked at it.

tbh my main justification for the price is mainly due to the carbon fiber looks under the hood :p
Any actual gains is just bonus. I do have some reservation now though hmmmm

No I'm going to wait for the acuity intake to come out. I only deal with quality companies.
I’m not confident that one is ever coming to market unless ACUITY has made a statement lately that indicates otherwise.
TBH an intake is a waste of money on these cars. I know 3 cars making over 500whp that still have the stock airbox on.
They would be 520+ whp cars with an intake. :p

It may not matter much on a sub 400whp car but absolutely does beyond 400, especially when testing with a closed hood.

🤣😂 that’s the same thing I said put on a good intake and it’s an easy 15-20whp

With all due respect I have about 250 FL5 dyno pulls under my belt including dozens focused on intake testing. PRL added the secondary inlet to their intake due to results of our pre-release testing of their intake. We were able to clearly demonstrate a restriction when the airflow demands of 400whp or greater existed. This restriction was due to the factory air inlet size (at the hood) and any intake that relies only on the factory inlet will demonstrate a significant power loss when tested at that power level (or greater) with the hood closed.

Trust me I know, I have the Infinity Design intake on my car. Intake is a must for me, I’m just saying I know people that didn’t use to get 500whp. It was with E85 and upgraded turbos but impressive nonetheless. I prefer to reduce restrictions as much as possible.

My apologies if I misinterpreted your previous reply. I believe we are on the same page here. :)

No biggie we’re speaking the same language. I pretty much copied your recommendations for making power just using different brands. Even though if I had waited an extra 6 days my car would’ve had a Kuro+ instead of the regular Kuro lol. Tell them boys at 27won to do some kinda exchange or upgrade

Ha well I do not think you are the first to ask but ultimately I of course do not have any impact on that decision. We did let our customers that had an uninstalled Kuro swap if desired, I imagine they would do the same. I love the standard Kuro though!

It would’ve been nice but I’m satisfied. I have a hard stop goal of 450whp and the Kuro will do that no sweat with great spool

I'd recommend the Kuro for that application for sure. 🏎

So curious on your final take of your intake and inlet pipe - do you recommend it? Was it worth the expense? Besides sound, do you notice any performance difference? Obviously it’s very aesthetically pleasing but I’m curious if there are any tangible benefits.
