Infinity Design doesn't manufacture the connector between the inlet pipe and the intake anymore. going forward you will have to use the stock oem connector. The quality of the Infinity connector is pretty bad really. I tore it on the last one I installed.

That's correct. Salman, Design Engineer from Infinity Design informed me. He didn't say they were bad, but that they were not manufacturing them anymore. It was challenging to fit the original, but I'm glad I did.

I luckily had a RV6 silicone coupler that I ended up using. It was also tricky to fit, but did fit just fine.

It should have fit, even with those upgrades. TJ from AHC has all those modifications and his fit as well. I had trouble fitting it until I realized it had to fall through the ring of the ID bracket/mount.
I just installed mine and had the same issues with the Acuity Reverse Flow hoses and possibly CSF Radiator reducing clearance and in the way of using the lower front mount. In AHC's video they never show that mount/bracket being used and kind of gloss over it and just show the box installed and then tightening the rear and front bolts. I tried to slow down the video to see if their lower bracket was still present but couldn't get a view/vantage point. They might've glossed past that for a reason.

I just removed the Infinity Design bracket from the bottom of the box and left the OEM mount/stub as is and used the rear and forward bolts to secure it.

Yeah I have the PWR street radiator and I think that mixed with the Acuity hoses prevent it from fitting with that front mount.

This was a pain point for me too. I even reversed the bracket thinking that it was improperly attached. I moved it back, attached the OEM rubber grommet, and forced the stem or pin through it. I celebrated a bit when it fell into place lol.

It looks like the common issue is the Acuity reverse flow hoses. I was sitting there looking for a while and that upper hose really impedes in the way of being able to use that front mount.

@Benny are you running the Acuity Reverse Flow hoses with your setup? It seems like that might be the issue we're all having that we're unable to use that mounting point.

I'm not yet. You guys are more experienced there for sure. I just recall how difficult that step was. I'm going to reach out to TJ to see what he encountered. He's running the same Acuity reverse flow hoses.

I'm curious to confirm what he did. I feel like he likely did what we did but they didn't show it in their install video. Let us know what he says.

I just installed mine as well and this part was the biggest frustration. It was also 17 degrees Fahrenheit when I installed it so the rubber was pretty stiff which didn't help, but damn that was hard to squeeze in.

Looks like a pretty consistent experience across the board re-using the OEM coupler. I'm thinking the RV6 coupler for their 660AS Inlet pipe could be a good alternative and have reached out to RV6 to see if that could be a viable option.

I just foresee more issues any time the box has to be removed for a trans fluid drain and fill or any other service in that area. I like to change the trans fluid pretty frequently and it was a breeze with the PRL HVI, but I'm dreading the next trans fluid change.

ID says to cut the clamp on the OEM coupler and replace it with a new one. Perhaps one with phillips head. They recommend using the OEM coupler.

I would stick with the ID inlet. Sounds amazing. I'm sure the RV6 parts would work great as well.

I'm sticking with the Infinity Inlet, I'm talking about a RV6 coupler between the Infinity Inlet and Intake pipe. The OEM coupler has nipples and corresponding holes/slots in the OEM clamp, so it's not just a simple swap of worm clamps for the OEM coupler.

I see. I'm sure the RV6 coupler would work. The OEM coupler was an incredible tight fit. Works great, though. You're right, it's going to be a pain to deal with it all the time.
