This overheating is serious. 145c oil temp 115c water temp

pwr + oil cooler + trans cooler are also not enough.

gonna figure if there’s room for an under body oil cooler like those in bmw but protect it with some grill.

I believe timing pull is very serious on my car after just 2 laps or so

So what exactly are you trying to lower? Intake temperatures or just everything in general?

You can use DI water, there is also a special glycool mix I've seen that lowers your coolant levels by roughly 10-15 degrees but its not recommend for a street driven car because it requires an exchange every 15,000 miles or so.

Getting an aftermarket downpipe alone should help decrease temperatures since there is a bigger amount of volume that is coming out from the exhaust, any downpipe would help with that and getting it ceramic coated would help as well. It wont cause a significant drop but doing small stuff like that will add up.

I took a look through your build link, and it doesn't seem like the oil coolers are that effective because its blocking the flow to the radiator, and its not ducted. Ducted oil coolers will show a significant drop in temperatures. All of the high performance ones are mounted to the sides along the crash bar with proper ducting. For other cars its probably fine but because our cars produces so much heat, the placement matters alot more.

There are a few oil cooler kits that are in development right now and they all looking promising so that is a good sign. I think theres like 3 or 4 companies developing a kit. The one from CSF was teased awhile ago and it looked extremely effective downside is that you have to cut 2 pretty big holes in your bumper.

Apparently there is going to be a triple pass radiator thats releasing soon so that will be a total upgrade over the one you have now.

Underbody oil coolers are generally a bad idea because its easy for the lines to get sliced from debris. I wouldn't try that.

Everything is just hot and doesn’t help where I am from. Oil temp got high, water was high, IAT also high. Will explore options without cutting up the bumper

Are you removing the rain guard? Or putting the heat on full blast while you are on the track? That will reduce your tempss as well.

I'd also get a CF hood like the one thats on the DE5 TCX car. Its seibon, I have the link bookmarked on my PC

Theres also the HPT Cooling plate. Thats pretty much a must have, and yeah put the heat on full blast when you are out there.

The Seibon hood will help too, the stock hood needs more venting to get out that hot air.

Look into mounting the oil coolers to the sides and have a proper ducting for them, and use DI water. I forgot the name of the glycool mix but there is a special type of coolant that lowes your temperature but it requires frequent flushes, its meant for a track car.

DE5 has a different hood design but it should be a 1:1 fit. Can't speak in person about fitment with Seibon, I don't really scour other people's builds or go to car meets otherwise I'm sure I'd see someone with it. I bet if you look around you could find an owner with it.

The Varis one seems really overpriced. The venting looks a bit too similar to the OEM one, they just made the center hole bigger and added some side vents. Honestly you could probably achieve the same effect by going on race louvers and replicating the same design for far less, you just wouldn't have the lightweight carbon fiber benefit but I don't think that does much with heat dissipation.

But for me, I'd rather just use what you see the professional race teams using. I haven't seen any race team use the varis hood.

HRC used the same Seibon hood for the Thunderhill 25 hour endurance race. It was used on the on the Civic Si too.

I have run Engine Ice coolant in my bikes for years and they definitely run cooler. I'm not sure an automotive specific equivalent exists.

Motorcycles don't have much cooling margin, so the difference is quite noticeable.
