Swift springs installed, switched from Spoon. Absolutely love how she drives and looks now.

Also finally sourced OEM JDM cf door trim to match my console and wing. Spoon bonnet is next.

Hows the comparison between the 2 lowering springs and what was your reason for changing?

Good question bro,

A few things bugged me but I still enjoyed Spoon. They felt definitely OEM + but lacked proper firmness and were a bit bouncy for me. +R mode was hardly usable, I also didnt like reverse rake stance.

Swifts is everything I wanted, absolute pleasure to drive, feels more stable, firm, controllable, tight and believe or not comfortable but in a certain insane way. Zero suspension play. Also absolutely love the stance. Can use + R daily if needed and car just feels right.

Thank you, I appreciate the response. I have an FL1 myself, and haven't really seen anyone install Spoon springs except for FL5 owners, so I was just curious as I'm still mulling over if I want lowering springs or to go with coilovers.

Love my Swift springs as well. Ride is firm without being too bouncy.

Have you gotten an alignment yet? I am debating getting camber arms to dial in the rear.
Yeah, got the initial alignment but coming back for another complementary one in 2 weeks

Installed the HEL oil cooler and euro horns. Tomorrow will be brake fluid flush and transmission fluid change.

I added the following interior lighting to the FL5:

1. JDM OEM LED Tailgate Light (08E17-T43-000) - this LED light is a net new light located just below the left tailgate grab handle. This part is a complete kit that consists of wiring harnesses, LED light with switch, zip ties, template to make the cut, bezzle/housing for the light, foam inserts to prevent rattles, and other miscellaneous components. A+ quality kit with literally everything you need to install the light. I expect nothing less from Honda. What's interesting is when you remove the panel and flip it over, it's already premarked for where this light should go (see picture). In total, this takes 2-3 hours to complete properly if working at a leisurely pace.

2. JDM OEM LED Room Lamp (08E13-E4A-A00) - this LED light replaces the current halogen light located in the tailgate area on the right. This is really straight forward, you're simply swapping one light for the other. This takes less than 5 minutes to complete.

BLUF: These lights significantly enhance the lighting conditions in the tailgate area. The lights are OEM, functional, and look good. What more can you ask for? I've included photos below of parts of the installation along with before and after.

Took the FL5 on a mini first Road trip to a honda car meet 120ish miles round trip. Hit 45 minutes of traffic on the way back and still averaged 28 mpg 😳
What a great car man I’m still in love and the honeymoon is over 😆
