Just installed this, anyone feel like the home link mirror doesn’t clip on as strong as the original one? (Those 4 prongs holding the mirror onto the base)
I do recall thinking it didn't snap on as strong as the stock one snapped off. It hasn't come off yet though.

Did you just slot the negative tap into the square where the wire was? I’m having issues getting the negative tap to go in. It seems like there‘s not any room for even the smallest one to fit in there.
I used https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B082V1245P

It comes with 3 diff options of ends to try fitting into the plug. I don't recall which one fit but I played with each one until one fit.

I installed my mirror today. I was being super gentle as I hate prying apart plastic. The A pillar clip seems to be single use only - make sense, as it's probably related to the pillar air bag and the way the clip is designed to pop off with certain force.

I did not re-use my old clip even though it looked perfectly fine.

Thank you to the OP for pics and part numbers!

Finally did this install on my regular Civic. Though has anyone used a different ground location than OP's? Or did they use the one in the tutorial for the ITS?

I picked up my FL5 yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised to see that it had Homelink. I know US and CDN spec Hondas have had differences in the past, but I hadn’t seen this mentioned on the forums

That's cool. Honda Canada's website does list it as a standard feature.
I wonder how they are different from the accord part. Is yours frameless?

You also get folding door mirrors, but not sure if that is just that it can fold or if it's automatic.

We know everybody outside the US gets parking sensors. You get capless fuel filler, rear seat heater ducts? You still don't get a spare, and you get the same spotty wireless Android Auto.

No rear seat vents, and the mirrors are not auto folding. The mirror is frameless though, and quite nice. It's a much nicer mirror than what's in my RDX Aspec.
