It will be the same as the 23/24. Maybe Google Assist like the Accord but nothing else besides more money $$$.

Im curious if it’s the last year for an ICE R like the previous Honda statements.

Don't think there is free maintenance on Hondas...

Hell, in Canada we don't even have free maintenance on Acuras!
The 2023s had like 2 years of maintenance included. I guess that has dropped to 1 year on the 2024. It's not worth much with such a short interval.

I could be wrong but I sense there is a minor possibility that the 2025 Type R's won't get the new infotainment with google integration. Only because Honda would have to port the LogR app to work with the new version of android automotive vs the old system which is just android.

Again, a random guess.

It's overrated anyway, imo.

They will only service when the maintenance minder calls for it. So, unless you are comfortable with 8-10k intervals and a very basic 0w-20, it does you no good for oil changes. I'm not sure when it will call for a tire rotation, but I'm at 7k, and it hasn't, so I'd say you're probably out of luck there, too.

I'm thinking the same thing. No changes at all, which I'd be okay with. It looks like the Google integration compromises some of the screen space available, based on images online.

That was quick. The 2024s were only out for six months.
That's not correct. MY2024 was out for longer than six months. They arrived in Q4 2023. So this it will be more like 10 months. These 2025 cars won't land at dealerships for several weeks. The west coast dealerships will be on the earlier end of that time frame, but it will be far longer than six months from MY2024 to MY2025.

maybe try another dealer?
I’ve had my oil changed by the dealer for free every 3 thousand miles 3 times already.

Where's the V8 option? Oh, Honda doesn't do such a thing. ; )
I'd like to see another K20C1 engine in the trunk area (since there isn't a spare tire) to drive the rear wheels and then 6 pipes out the rear. So figure 630 horsepower, 620 ft lbs of torque ... that should be enough. :headbang:

That’s a promotion your specific dealer does for their customers.
The two year free maintenance is from the factory that is paid for by Honda Corp. itself.

In my country, Spain-Europe, you can contract vehicle maintenance for 5 years (5 revisions) for 1,500 euros, taxes included. Includes all official maintenance. Obviously it does not include wear elements such as brakes pads or clutch. It does include, if requested, tire rotation. It is a way to protect yourself from inflation.
By the way, here you can only order the model in white or red color.

Bought my 2024 CTR in February. Sales manager said all USA Honda's come with 2 years free maintenance. Said it is a Honda program, not a dealer initiative.

That being said, I've always done all my own maintenance (except tire mount/balance) and will continue to do so. My quality control is 100% vs. multiple stories I've heard over the years about loose or missing bolts, double gasketing the filter, not refilling oil, etc., etc. Owning Honda's help, since they rarely break. We have owned Ford, VW, Porsche, Audi, Toyota cars in the past. All were more trouble, with German cars by far the worst.

I just got my oil and filter changed for free at a dealership 2000 miles away from where I purchased my 24 ctr. This is my 3rd service and I only have 5328 miles on the car. My oil life was 70%
