I'm hearing a faint knock when releasing the clutch from a stop into first gear. It happens about midway through engagement. cant hear it/doesnt happen in other gears. Ill hear a noise similar to if you were to knock your knuckle on a table. It sounds solid. Is this something others have noticed ? Its not particularly loud, but noticeable. Unfortunately I don't have the means to get under the car right now otherwise id dig into it, maybe at some point ill strap gopro down there.
I took it to the dealership today and they were able to hear and replicate the noise but couldn't find anything out of order, in fact they said another FL5 at the shop makes the same noise when they did a comparison. They mentioned it may just be the clutch engagement. I should say I have a cat back exhaust and RMM. I thought maybe the RMM was loose but they said they torqued and checked all bolts, even the struts. I thought maybe the exhaust was touching something although like i said it sounds solid not tinny/hollow. They seem to think it is normal. Anyone else getting this noise??
