The beam pattern is built to sit higher, even though you adjust it to the lowest setting it is still higher.Context? Experience?
I just checked with Japan and they're $1000 per side.If anyone is interested in the JDM FL5 headlights which have a clear reflector and not amber they’re about $1400 per light.
PNs:
R HL - 33100-T43-J13
L HL - 33150-T43-J13
For the unaware, these will have a different beam pattern requiring adjustment to reduce glare.
You can find them on IGEven better! Thanks!
Do they have a website?
Not at all. You just have to find someone who is willingly to send it to the US. Part numbers are also easy to get: call a Honda dealer in Europe or ask someone here in this forum. The easiest way: just ask your family member, neighbour, friend or someone you know how is stationed in Germany and he can buy them for you at a local Honda dealer.Traditionally Euro market headlights are hard to find whereas the JDM have always been easy. However, if anyone has a PN and source that’s definitely the more ideal setup.
Yet what you posted contradicts easy so I’d rather buy the JDM lights and avoid all the bullshit trying to source EDM lights. Not at all. Plus the EUDM headlights are the better options than the JDM ones, you will not blind someone. Especially, if you buy the highest spec EUDM headlights from the standard civic, you also have cornering lights + adaptive high beam (need some programming too).
100% correct. The dot pattern is completely different so you still have to deal with it even if you have the headlights aligned the other way around on height because you can't change the dot patterns.
The LHD European headlights is the way to go if you really wanted it even though the cutoff pattern is different, but I will just leave it alone for the money spent and yet still having the hassles.
