Got hit by a big rock on the freeway last week

Well, this is one way to get rid of the swirl marks in my hood...going to have to get it resprayed

Took it to the glass shop before I noticed the hood damage and they recommended a local guy who works out of his backyard shop. He mainly does classic car restoration but supposed to be very good.

He filed a supplement so looks like I'll be getting OEM windshield rather than aftermarket. Let me know what you think.

best thing is he started work immediately. All the big body shops around here are backed up 4-6 weeks right now.

63/hr seems about right, the local big time shops near me do 75/hr. Estimated hours are a little too high for the work being done imo, but you take what you can get

yea, well, probably because he knows insurance is paying...lol. anyways, i'll update once i get the car back but i'm hoping for some high quality paint on the hood versus the thin OEM crap.
