Lol I read the first line and was going to tell you to get bent then I realized who it was….

It looks awesome in red.

If I had to rank my colour choice I’d go:

Black (not available in the great white North)
Champ white (colour I got. No choice)
Red (wouldn’t have at all been disappointed had I got this colour)
Blue (looks amazing but again not available for me)
SG (not a fan of how it flips to bright green in the sun but looks good otherwise).

I can’t wait to see you guys take on the car from an ownership perspective like you guys did with the C7 GS. (I personally think he’ll regret selling that car in a few years. Last of the OG ’vettes)

Be careful Mark, someone might actually take you seriously on this offer, being the craziness surrounding this car. I live close to you, and I have a stock FK8 with only 5k miles. We can re do the throttle house comparisons if you have a safe place to do it!

If your car is stock we can do it at autobahn in spring, we can shut down the track for a video. Just have to be ok with a few laps on it. I want to do something like that. Our issue is always weather here. In another 5 months there will be 500 videos about how (IS FL5 tYPE R worth 300k?). FL5 vs FL8 vs LAMBO u DEcIdE!!

dang, not sure I can afford the car, but I might be able to get a 8% loan for the hand shake tho :nixon: or do you take cash only, but will need to check id?:rofl::rofl:
You can Venmo my paypal account the bitcoin. I will need to do a background check on you then, also check local health department on your vaccination status. Additionally I need to see if your family and pets are up to date including any past medical history of skin allergies or other problems with high blood pressure, stroke etc. Shaking MY HAND is a hell of an experience. Dont need any liabilities. If ok Ill send you the 300 page docusign.

Pretty much. I already see such a divide between FK8 and FL5 camps which I don’t get.

I test drove an FK8 this summer and loved it I just couldn’t get past the styling. The FL5 addressed that for me and I couldn’t be happier with being able to get one.

I also think part of the reason that the FL5’s are going to sell at stupid prices is because guys like me in my age bracket wouldn’t be caught dead in the FK8. Now that they fixed that older guys with a little more financial freedom can get in on the fun and afford to pay a premium to get one, although I paid MSRP.

Pretty hard to hold my head up high pulling up to house in a hot wheels car(FK8) and my neighbour is washing his 720S and 812SF (true story). Now I love the fact that with all the fancy cars my neighbours have, I have a best of breed car that I can daily the shit out of while they take there half million dollar cars for coffee twice a month. They wouldn’t be caught dead in a CTR because there ego’s would prevent them from driving a peasant car like a Civic…

I have to say that all the looks I’ve gotten in my FL5 so far have been from Porsche/Merc/BMW drivers. They know what they are looking at.

end ramble.

I’m in my late 40’s and could really care less what anyone thinks about my car.

Aesthetics are a huge piece of the puzzle, I agree with you 100%. In some ways the main difference between last gen and this is target demographics. The new Civic as a whole is a much better designed car to be a bit more timeless. And I get the boring argument as well. When you are you younger you also don't quite grasp the concept of "act your age" in how your job and peers view things as you get older. Its stupid but true. Anyway the psychology of car ownership is beyond the scope of my 127k for sale thread.

Haha fine. Back on topic.

Your nutz if you think you’re getting that for a red one! Champ White maybe, also is it even one of the first 100 cars off the line? 🤪

My VIN is the number of one of most famous Honda Races in history where the team finished 18th/19th and given penalties.

40k cash today! Lol
Clearly you are unaware of the market conditions and how special this car is. Celebrities and race car drivers have driven this car at paid events.
