FL5 Steering Rack on Backorder?

One day, I started hearing a knocking noise that is rather audible from the inside of the car after I am done driving it.

Can consistently reproduce it by turning the steering wheel left and right while the car is not moving.

Service advisor told me they will replace the steering rack, but no ETA.

In the same boat. Just got a 2025 FL5 at the end of the year, not even 1500 miles on it. Noticed a clicking noise when turning and yesterday the dealership reported back with a failed electronic steering gear box. No ETA

Several parts for all Civics have been on backorder for years. It's insane.

Is it similar to this, or something different?

In my case I also find that steering feedback is inconsistent. I had the steering recall done a month ago, but I can't remember if this started before or after.
