The FL5 developed a weird rattle in the dashboard area that was starting to annoy me quite a bit.

Using minimal butyl sound deadening (dynamat), I was able to fix the rattle as best as I can.

The sound deadening was applied on the infotainment rear trim cover and also under the dashboard itself where my hands could safely reach.

I have same issue. Very minor rattle, but bothers me. Did that make a noticeable difference with the rattle?

Thanks for posting this.

Pretty ridiculous Honda hasn't announced a TSB for this (that I am aware of). Same issue occurs for the 2023 Si.

I think they did but it was just putting some felt under the two corners of the infotainment screen.

If you tap on the dashboard its so hollow that its pretty much a free for all for vibration to occur.

Popping the air vent panel off and putting new felt tape over what came from the factory is a massive help too. it's fairly simple to pop off...Video is how to remove the fake engine noise but shows how to get all the stuff off

I felt taped my top right air/defroster vent and it is still rattling. I gotta mess with it some more, figure out exactly where the vibration is hitting and tape that spot.
