I’ve posted in a couple of other forums about how the dealer put a protection product of some type on, and swirled the crap out of my paint. I won’t post that horrible picture here again. Anyway, I let them take a stab at fixing it. They had the car for three days and returned the car in passable condition. There are still some minor lines, and of course we are in pollen season, so it’s difficult to really see how they did. It does look amazing compared to the way it was delivered to me however.
I can finish what they started, but the question now is, is it this paint that easy to swirl? Or, is it just the blue really shows them easily? I really don’t want to do a full PPF. I also don’t want to deal with the constant threat of swirls.
Is a ceramic coating going to be enough or do I just need to consider PPF?
