My parents ordered a cr v hybrid 2 weeks ago and got told it would arrive in the new year while I still have no word on the FL5 I ordered a year ago haha

Only news I got is still back at the end of Oct/early Nov. I was re-confirmed they are only getting 2 between 2023-2025 and both are accounted for (one for me, and the other for another lucky person). Salesman has no idea when they expect to receive either car but told me to likely expect it sometime in 2024.

I feel like that's a BS excuse. Formula Honda is doing the same thing with their cars as well. Buddy of mine received this after inquiring about a CTR in mid november:

Everyone ready to hate dealers even more. From a guy in a GR86 group I'm in. 2 CTR's sold from Honda dealers to thus volkswagen dealer. Both have been sold already for $72k and $75k since theyre "used". The games these dealers play are ridiculous...

haha honestly, I’ve already lost complete interest in the car. I’m of the mindset, if it happens and I get one, absolutely fantastic, but if not, no big deal. Going to get something that also checks the boxes but older/used. Or the refreshed golf r, whenever that comes out.

I'm still interested, but we will see where we're at in a year and a half IF one finally shows up lol

100%, I’m still rooting for everyone to get one. I just have taken a step back on this release as the rollout was just that fantastic. Along with the great communication and rollout on the dealer end as well. Happy sarcastic fridays haha.

If only the Type S had a rear wing. Honestly if it looks too much like a base integra it's not going to be as timeless or memorable as CTR.

you should tell your perents to purchase a Toyota, that way we start letting Honda know what we think of them!

lol trust me they tried... Toyota wait times are far slower than Honda's. At least according to this spreadsheet provided by a dealer. Looking at the GR Corolla times, I'm pretty happy waiting for the type R.

I'm curious how you order a car a year ago that has only had the orders open since November? Unless you mean you put a deposit down a year ago..
