Well I can't lie, I didn't have the weekend I wanted but also now know I need to make some changes, and maybe car! lol :p We were in the thick of it all weekend but were hitting cones left and right. I think the 295 is just a little numb so, I am going to go to a 275/35 18. that should make second gear longer by about 1mph and hopefully make it feel more crisp!

I wasn't too mad about my performance but just lack of consistency. Ill also say day 2 of the tour I was mad we couldn't match the raw time of the vette. This thing might be DS after all! and no, I don't sandbag to make it move!

I may have to start a go fund me page for all fl5 owners who want this moved to DS lol!!

A few friends were also hitting a lot of cones out there lol. What mode have you been running in: +R or Individual with the pedal dance?

Recently, I've been flipping back and forth between this fitting in BS and DS.

When I autocrossed regularly, I always ran in X class. As soon as I started getting worried about being "competitive," it was game over as far as fun was concerned.

soo i was reminded that when you run pedal dance the shocks resort to the default setting. that could be good or bad lol. worth a test though.

Are leaving traction control ON, level 1 OFF, or level 2 long press fully off?

got the 275/35 mounted yesterday and we have a local event this weekend. I dont expect sweeping changes just because these tires do seem to need a good event to heat cycle and be fast but well see!

I would be curious to hear your thoughts on the 275, though I agree they take a heart cycle to come in.

I am running 275 stones on my FL5 CTR and the car feels great. I am generally not big on the heavily pinched tires but that may just be personal preference.

I an going to nationals and will buy a set of sticker tires soonish. Probably 275s again, but curious what you find out.

I think the OP sold his fl5 lol
yep its gone.

the 275s did feel a lot better but i really think to be competitive(questionable in BS) its going to need a different size on the rear, maybe 275 front and 255 rear.

Sorry to hear. I enjoyed following your build! Just curious as you told people not to pay over MSRP did you sell it for market value or what you paid?

Curious why you sold and what your plan is next.
I’d imagine it’s because the car is not competitive in B Street. It’s not something I personally value so it’s hard to wrap my head around it but that’s what I’ve gathered.
