So your using the fk8 karcepts bar?
Yep. It’s the fk8 bar But the larger one he originally offered. With the grip of. Ew tires and added weight if this car the larger bar I wanted the larger of the two.

Nice! I have my fk8 one still and I think it’s the original one they sold. Going to put it on now since I have confirmation that it fits. Thank you

How’s the rear sway bar affect handling on the CTR? I had them on my WRX and STI and they definitely helped with rotating the car when lifting off throttle.

It was cold, couldn't get heat into the tires. kinda hard to tell but it definitely intensified the lift off oversteer

Went to a cam/xs challenge event this weekend for the seat time. Wasn’t happy with the car last week but now I’m super happy. Car was quick and felt awesome. I ran XA just cause I wanted to get out earlier on Sunday and not be stuck working late lol. Plus there wasn’t anyone in BS there

seems like the Bridgestone need a good event before they get super fast. 295 definitely a little numb but excellent grip and predictable when sliding.

Got any tips for learning a course quickly? I have my first points event this weekend and I'm almost positive it will take more runs than we get for me to learn where to go. Watching your video makes me think I'm for sure getting lost haha.

Always do your course walks! Our region does a novice corse walk for new people. Hopefully you have that also and they can help you. They also might have people to ride along with you to help you learn the course. Don’t worry too much about speed and doing well in class. Go out there. Learn. And important have fun! You’ll get there!

Yep, course walks are key. Some organizations let you use a bicycle, so you can get in more than one "run" before the day starts.

Definitely take advantage of any novice coaching and advice. If you can befriend an experienced racer that will do ride alongs with you that can really help.

for walking the course ahead of time if you can go in with the mindset of not only knowing where you are supposed to go, but also where you need to be looking ahead. But honestly, don’t stress about it. Just go out to learn and have fun. Leave the ego at home and ask for help.

Thanks, guys! I’m thinking I might walk the course with the GoPro on to try to review before my run. Is there typically time to watch your own footage between runs or are the back to back?

Yeah there should be at least 3 min between runs so you should be fine :)

Ultimately it depends on how many cars are in your run group. If there's say, 20, then you'll have maybe 5 minutes between each run (finish your run, queue up for your next run, wait). But if it's a small run group (say, 5 or 6 cars), you'll be running pretty much back-to-back-to-back. However, once you run the course once in real life, it will be ingrained in your brain. I can still remember courses that I ran 20 years ago (no joke).
