I agree, as I said in a post before. I want to keep the original OEM tips - they looks best. Someone recommended Milltek, but that doesn't keep the OEM tips. I think my only option is the resonator delete, but that comes with some problems.
What issues? If you do this, there is no effect on performance or function. And it sounds a little louder, just perfect. I did just the 2 rear mufflers on my FK8, but I think doing the large resonator has the same effect.

Thanks for the sound clips @urbo73!

So far best sounding aftermarket and with good weight savings. Tempting
Does sound the best to me so far, I don't like how it looks though.. The brackets almost make it look like it has quad exhaust tips.

Anyone heard if any other companies (Greddy, Invidia, ETC) have a timeline or proto type in testing yet. Loving the sound of the Remark, not sold on the looks of it in either stainless or Ti. Millteck and AWE look good but not sold on the sound.

Just asked Remark if they can make it with different tips.

Dont be fooled by the clips, i can say for certain the milltek is deep and growly with burbles in the low gear shifts.

thank you for doing that. I hope that the community contributing ideas can help companies, like remark, who are at least willing to listen, further product offerings in what seems to be such a small market offering at this point

It helps that we’re local to them & know the owner so we can just barge in & demand changes. Just kidding haha.

Anyone done a DP/FP with the stock exhaust? Did this on my Si and it sounded great. Tried hunting for sound clips from an FL5 but no luck yet…

IIRC Dustin Williams on YouTube might have that combo on his FL5. I know he did a front pipe for sure, can’t remember if he did the Down pipe as well but he definitely has a stock exhaust

Checked his channel out and couldn’t find anything on a downpipe, just the frontpipe. Figure I’ll start with the downpipe and if I don’t like that it’ll probably be a resonated Milltek touring setup next.

Will have a similar setup in November hopefully.
Nice! Not sure when I’ll do it yet, still deciding on which downpipe and planning to do jailbreak/Hondata at the same time. Never have had good luck with aftermarket downpipes not throwing codes so I just figure I’d eliminate that issue with the tune. If you beat me to it, post up what you think about the sound change, I’m curious myself how it will sound and hoping I don’t end up going full exhaust.

Yeah I will post up everything in my build thread when I get everything. I’m getting Hondata at the end of the month and the downpipe should be here mid November hopefully.

So I’ve owned my CTR for a week and I can’t get over how quiet it is! I’m not looking to do much more modding than a cat back and maybe an intake. Any cat backs out that don’t sound like crap? Not looking for anything loud, just louder than stock with a good tone and no drone.
