It seems like everyone is running the pracworks manifold, including many friends of mine, but I refuse to pay 2K$ on it and I really dislike the 180 bend on the runners.

So after some research I found this:

rzcrewgarage.com/products/rzcrew-racing-airstream-intake-manifold-honda-civic-type-r-fk2-fk8-fl5-k20c1-k20c4-air-h-fk2 11th Gen Honda Civic Anyone using RZCREW intake manifold? 1712661230895-oh

And I ordered it. Am I the only one in the world?

I´m mostly interested in the port match between the runners and the head. I could have gone with the fk8td manifold but this one seemed easier to fix lol. If necessary I can cut and weld and make changes.

what are your toughts?

Couldn't think of a better person to try it out as the first user. Please keep us posted. I ran their manifold for L15B7 on my Civic and fitment was dead on, all the fittings were in OE locations and really bolted on like a OE+ part, unfortunately I never got to do any before/after testing. I would gladly try this manifold out too.

Manifold arived just a few days ago but I have a 3 day old newborn so it might take a couple of weeks before I test.

But I will post results asap.

Congrats on the newborn, hope you're able to get some sleep and sanity over the coming weeks.

Thank you! It´s the second one so I´m used to it. Also is a girl so double the love lol.

EDIT: at this point I have a lot of power. More than I need to be honest. So the goal of the manifold is not peak power, but more power at a lower boost level. My goal is 420whp at 20psi at E60.

Right now I make 450 at 28psi on E50. From a 275whp stock pull, its good enough. I need to cool all that

100% garbage.

manifold doesnt fit, flange doesn´t match.

throttle body placement is far off.

Waste of time and money. Will move back to stock since I have no time to bore out the stock manifold it will remain like this.

That's a shame to hear. I know you're probably frustrated going through the time to remove everything for nothing. Thanks for the info and letting everyone know.

That’s a shame. It’s one to have holes not aligned 100% but it’s another to have issues you mentioned. What testing did they do? None and then sell a product. That’s sh!t. I hope you get your money back.

the flange bolts to the head, but the ports are a off. That is very stupid since most of the gains of an aftermarket manifold for the k20c1 are in making the ports the same size since the stock manifold ports are much smaller then the head.

Also the trottle body is way off, to a point where I would have to relocate a lot of stuff, change the boost pipes, etc.

Also the fittings come in the wrong size for the oem vaccum and boost lines. Not to mention they didn´t include the necessary o´rings to mount them.

What a shame. It was obviously never tested

Sounds like PLM. Some of these companies man. Selling junk and pretending like it fits as good as the brand names that actually design stuff to fit.
