Anyone used Black Hawk for Wheels?

I’m potentially looking at ordering a set of wheels from Black Hawk Japan, and I’m trying to figure out what customs/duties/taxes I should expect if I was to order from them. I can’t seem to find solid answers anywhere on the topic. From what I’ve gathered, the value of the product plays a role, which is probably around $3200 after shipping ($2600 before shipping), but can’t find anything else. Lol

Has anyone had experience ordering wheels from them, and if so, what was the experience like?

I paid $127 in duties/taxes for $3500. No issues ordering from them.

I agree I would try to find through a local distributor. Also if you run into issue I imagine the support might not be what you expect. I did use them before black hawk because spoon markup is ridiculous.

I would prefer stateside but I haven’t seen anywhere remotely close to $3200 shipped for a set of 19” TE37.

I've only ordered a few small things from them but would absolutely look at ordering wheels from them when I'm ready. Import taxes really aren't much I think I read 3%? Could change sometime soon though who knows what will be subject to any tariffs.

Customs fees, duties, and taxes are applied once the product gets to the US and are the responsibility of the buyer/importer. From what I understand, FedEx would contact the buyer once it goes through customs with the amount the buyer owes, if any.

When my wheels came in from Black hawk fedex contacted me and I think the duty charge/ tax was 150 bucks. In the order was spoon wheels and springs.

Can you build the same order on the spoon usa sight. Then show the difference to black hawk price with all fees and shipping.

Yes you can build both and check prices that’s what I did when ordering I think in all I saved close to 1k.
