Just got a '25 Si and its been fun so far. Im looking at the Takeda intake and it seems like a decent product, is anybody here using it? Im curious to know what people think.

The only thing Im hesitant about is using the aftermarket wiring harness extension for the MAF sensor that this kit uses. I know it really shouldnt cause any problems, but I also know how issues can sometimes pop up form using aftermarket wiring. Is that being too paranoid?

My friend’s car was used for the final product when they made it. No complaints from him so far!

i’ve been using it for about a year now. definitely no electrical issues. intake sounds nice, creates some space, easy install. i added the acuity shifter cable bushings while i had the intake out too.

How about power gains? Have you noticed any gains? Did you dyno it by any chance?

If it’s from a reputable company, I doubt you would encounter any issues as long as it is installed properly (it’s hard to mess up an intake). If you don’t want to change the wiring you could use an SRI from 27Won or PRL, or their HVI/CAI options.

I helped test it and ran it on my car for a bit, along with the exhaust. No issues. I think right now the PRL intake is cheaper because they have a Black Friday deal going on, so I would get whatever is cheaper.

Experimenting with intakes like the AFE Takeda Momentum is a great way to optimize performance and explore innovation. This process mirrors the analysis of literature, where understanding each element helps create a bigger picture. Essays on books like The Great Gatsby delve into themes of aspiration and improvement. If you’re curious, here’s a The Great Gatsby essay that explores such ideas in depth.
Congrats :)
