rumor about the 2023 Civic is that the LX trim will phased out thus Sport trim will be the default trim.. No new colors though

can anybody confirm this?

They just did that to the Pilot. No more LX and base trim is Sport.

Anyone else have info? Do we think the sport is going to stick with the 2.0? I’m about to get another sport but was going to wait for 2023 model if they were going to change to 1.5t. Probably unlikely but 🤷🏻‍♂️

Doubt that will happen. This gen, they aligned the engines between the sedan and hatch line. If anything it would happen in the mid-cycle which will be in 2 to 3 years typically.

Looking at a 2023 Sport Touring hatchback…not expecting any changes.

Honda Canada quietly published the 2023 Civic Sedan info, just go to their website. From what I can tell, there are no changes whatsoever, except for one thing. The price went up by about CAD 1,000 across the board. So if you thought the 2022 was expensive, the 2023 is a touch more expensive now.

Hopefully with the 2023 they fixed the uneven gap on the hood. If they did, maybe that is why they are charging CAD 1,000 for this "feature". 😂

LX Trim level is not there for 2023. It starts at the Sport on the 4 door and 5.

Morning Mist is still a color option.

No more LX trim for Civics, the Si no longer has the high performance tire trim, everything else remains the same

Big change = Sport has 1.5L as standard.
