Potential FL5 in the future
Going back on topic...Since Honda did say they are holding firm on no price increases, that does bode well for the time being. As of this date, AutoTrader shows 360+ new FL5s on dealer lots. Still some opportunities to pick up a FL5 as we wait and see what other impacts we see from the tariffs. I am trying not to get into panic buying and waiting a few more weeks before I decide if I want to pick up a FL5.

I am also curious about the new GRMN Corolla...

Nothing about the GRMN Corolla screams affordable or reasonably priced for what you get. Still interesting and I'll follow it, but I'm not expecting anything earth shattering based on the specifications of the GRMN Yaris vis-à-vis the standard Yaris.

Fully expect it to be a body kit and some special branding, no performance changes

They’ll bump the power up by 10 hp and 8 lb ft of torque, double up the head gasket, pat it twice and say “that’ll hold,” then send it. Top speed, for warranty purposes will go from 85 mph to 87 mph.🤣

Legitimately insane to give a free track day then void the warranty not for a legitimate reason, but because you went over 85mph 🤯

Good thing they include the Toyota Experience head gasket replacement workshop in the parking lot.🤣

I knew I should have bought that INTC yesterday. Could have made a few grand. Gonna be happening over and over though so we'll probably have multiple opportunities just like when you could day trade off his tweets.

Yep. I mean, that strategy would've worked out so far - buy at the dip when the threat is there...sell when it rebounds after the takesie backsie.

I tell you what though, it's been incredibly hard for businesses to plan around it - or at least it has been for my company.

Yep, companies getting screwed over so they can make the big money on the way down and the way up. If only I knew how to play the options game.

So looks like the tariff on imported Hondas will now be 35% for the time being? That's the 25% auto import tariff plus the reciprocal tariff on all countries that haven't retaliated, like Japan.

25% tariff on imported auto parts starts May 3.

Honda has probably already stopped all vehicle imports, to avoid paying the tariff.
