Is there a big difference between version 1 and version 2??
Thanks for your inquiry. The shape and size is the same. The main difference is that its better reinforced so it's stronger and less likely to warp.

Thank you

I just installed this lip by myself. This is a two/two and a half hour job. I used 1 inch long 10/32 bolts and nylon lock-nuts with Fender washers on both sides. I used 11 bolts in all. Version 2 of this lip seems pretty strong. There is no way in hell I would put this on with just screws!!!! It was very difficult to get your hand in the center part of the underbody to put the nuts on but, this baby ain't going to fall off going down the road!!!!

Hi andyboyd102:

That look great, using nylon bolt and washers is the best way to mount any lip to fully secure it. If you had a lift, we noramlly take a whole bumper off when installing lip. That way we have a lot more room to make the drill on the underside of the bumper.

Thank you

I would not advise trying to modify it to make it work on the hatch, will most likely look odd. They currently do not make anything for the Hatch though they have stated they have stuff in the works though no info on when or what is coming... trust me, there is a long list of hatch owners waiting to see what comes out and Ikon knows we are waiting :p

Would this fit, if you have the front bumper kit?
