A family member used to own a 2016 Civic and among other things, one of their gripes with it was that it rode too low. I recall reviewers also dinging that model when it came out due to the low ride height/ground clearance. Does the 11th generation sit a bit higher? When I search the ground clearance online, it's listed as 6.7 inches but that seems implausable as it would make the car noticably taller since it's approaching crossover territory. Anybody who has owned or has experience with both models care to chime in?

Also am I correct in my understanding that for 2025 the two lower trims will be locked to a 2.0L engine and the two upper trims a hybrid powertrain (meaning no more turbo)?

Pretty sure the ground clearance between the 10th and 11th gens is more or less identical since same platform and mostly carryover underpinnings. I've sat in the 11th gens and can confirm they feel just as pleasantly low riding as my 10th gen.

As for the second question, yes, that seems to be the case from what Honda has revealed. You'll have the base LX and Sport with the 2.0L (making slightly less power than before) and the turbo is gone in favor of a Hybrid Sport and Hybrid Sport Touring with more power/torque than the turbo.
