I wanted Rallye Red, but ended up with with 2nd option, Sonic Gray Pearl. Thank god I ended up with SGP because I preferred more of the Pure Red tone offered by Subaru. Also, the contrast of SGP/red seats is just so orgasmic to look at.

I had the options between the following colors @ $5K ADM:

CW: I've always despised that off-white tone. Heritage thoo, I get it.
BB: Too loud for me.
SGP: I asked the dealer if they could request this color, the fleet manager pulled through.

The contrasting red seats actually work amazingly well with every color....except RR :p That was actually what ultimately turned me off from RR - just way too much red everywhere. Still a beautiful color though

Wanted CW, went to look at SGP and love it. Red would be my 3rd option. Black is nice but too hard to stay clean.

I was open to any color besides black. I already have one black car, and hate all the extra work it takes to keep it looking good. I couldn’t deal with that in my daily driver. I wound up with BB, and couldn’t be happier!

Originally was locked in on CW or bust, but after seeing more pictures of BB and SGP I warmed up to them. Eventually landed a deal on a BB and after owning dull grey cars my whole life I am loving how much the blue stands out compared to everything else.

I started with Championship White and ended with Championship White. I selected CW for a few reasons:

1. There's nothing more iconic than a red Honda badge on CW paint.
2. It's the only color in the current palette from the original Type R.
3. Since Honda uses a CW Type R as the halo car, when you think of the Type R series CW subconsciously comes to mind.
4. It was the color of the Type R I had on a poster in my room growing up and the color of the Type Rs I would race around the tracks in Gran Turismo as a teenager. The high nostalgic value and heritage were a major draw.

There was a point in time that I very briefly entertained the idea of any color once I realized how difficult the FL5 would be to acquire. The thinking was I'd rather have any color over no color. I quickly moved on from that and stayed the course. I knew I ultimately wouldn't be content settling.
pretty much this. I would have taken any color truthfully, but really wanted CW since this is a mid life crisis car buy for me lol. It definitely reminds me of the ITR that I always wanted while I drove around in my hand me down '88 Camry. about 45 cars later, I have what I want...hopefully my body doesn't deteriorate any faster.

Only wanted CW. If it wasn’t available I would have kept driving the RR FK8.

Originally wanted SGP. They had SGP and CW at the dealership but they sold the SGP 2 hours before I came in and they gave me a great deal on CW. Never looked back and now I love the CW even more.

I like BB but it's not exclusive. CW is the classic color and exclusive. I wanted CW, got CW. All of my searching was to find a CW at a reasonable enough price.

My EK9 Si was ElectronBluePearl, partly because that's what they had but also it was an exclusive color and looked good.

Originally only wanted CBP, had to settle with a BB because 5k over in the PNW market is rarer than the amount of RRs out there. But the color is starting to grow on me.

Wanted BB or CW, the dealership had both. Finally decided on the blue. Blue makes the body lines pop real good. Honda japan did a great job designing this car, imo it should have a loud color that puts everything on display

I wanted Championship White and that's what I got, all my cars are white so it fits perfect.

It's kinda hilarious to see the difference in white paint across all my cars. The e92 M3 in Alpine White is so pure white it makes the CW look like a cream color 😂 It still looks great tho and as others have said, the heritage is cool too. Can't really go wrong with any color IMO.
