Turning off stability control is the first thing I do when getting in any of my cars. Having to do the pedal dance outside of +R mode is a complete PITA. Has anyone developed a way to code the car to turn off VSA outside of +R mode using just the button, without going through the whole pedal dance?

I am working on it, I am trying the easy way, by software. If that doesn´t work it could be dan via a CAN device that mimics the pedal dance signals. Easyer said than done but can be done

That is awesome! Hope you can find a solution for all of us. Let us know if you run into any snags - I'm sure there are some guys here that would be interested as well

I think I got something, but need to test it. Worst case it looks like it can be switched off at the ecu.

If that is the case, for people using Hondata for example would be easy to ask them to add this byte on a future update, then before the track event you could flash a new map switching it off

I'd love to see a plugin device! I'd think an Arduino might work here? I "know a guy" who did that type of stuff on the ND Miatas, made some cool modules to add functions like auto-down windows when the top goes down.

This and a rev hang fix would probably make me go with a tune if it was offered even though I'm not currently interested in one.

I got that sort of figured out. It would need an ecu patch, I will test this on the upcoming weeks, if it works I send to hondata for the sake of the Honda community lol.

What is the status of this? I'm very interested. I tried pursuing a "hardware" based solution but reached a dead end as described here. Thanks!
