Type R Driver Side Ambient Lighting

Am I supposed to have ambient lights on my driver’s side near the pedals? I noticed that my passenger side has them but my drivers side does not.

I would suggest you to look around that area.

You don't want the ambient light to be so crazy bright that they distract you.

Take the molding and kick panel off it should be there. Then twist lock it back into top of the kick panel to lock it in. Put kick panel back on then molding.

This exactly. That footwell light can easily pop out of the socket/holder. Look at the passenger side light and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Tension in the wire causes it to rotate and unlock and pop out of the driver’s side holder. There’s not much room to in there to work with, but it can be popped in and rotated into the socket in such a way that it will hold in place and the tension in the wire actually makes it stay. Mine hasn’t popped back out.
