Total tuned time: 2 years

Tuned miles driven: 26,000

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V1.2

Tunes used: All TSP's and Phearable's OTS, DROB Custom Email Tune

Fuel used: 91 octane / 91+e30

Additional related mods: RV6 retrofit Type R clutch, KTuner, 27WON downpipe/frontpipe ,PRL intercooler, PRL high volume intake, PRL flex fuel kit (E30), PRL Turbo Inlet, Hybrid Racing short shifter, Swift springs, RV6 rear Sway, Genesis Brembo brakes, RV6 365 Red journal turbo

Problems/issues: Only issues that concerns me is that I'm getting -10 to -14 LTFT. Other than that everything is good

Driving style: Pretty harsh, done over 15 track days in California.

Tuning experience notes: I don't know about other people but I was able to push about 250whp on 91 only and 275 whp with 91 + e30 with rv365 turbo. Was hoping to get about 300 whp on e30.

Total tuned time: 4 months

Tuned miles driven: 3,000

Tuning device(s) used: Hondata

Tunes used: custom tune from national speed Wilmington

Fuel used: 93 octane

Additional related mods: MAP race catback, map front pipe, RV6 catted DP, PRL TIP, PRL intake with high flow duct, PRL IC w/ charge pipe kit, rv6 retro flywheel, exedy stage 0 clutch, ARP head studs, Custom tune through Hondata.

Problems/issues: none so far

Driving style: lots of short pulls day to day

Tuning experience notes: car feels a lot better, definitely woken up especially in top end. After tune it makes around 250hp and just under 290 tq, more than enough for some sporty driving. In my opinion staying at around this power without upgraded internals is the sweet spot for this car if it’s your daily. Couldn’t be more happy with this purchase.

Total tuned time: 3 days

Tuned miles driven: 300

Tuning device(s) used: Hondata FlashPro

Tunes used: 93-Octane Hondata basemap

Fuel used: 93 octane

Additional related mods: K&N Intake, Infinity Design Carbon Fiber inlet tube, Funk turbo blanket

Problems/issues: None

Driving style: Between driving like grandma and like I stole it, and everywhere between.

Tuning experience notes: Multiple basemap and custom tuning on 10th gen 2.0NA using Ktuner, with almost 40,000 miles before reflashing to stock when I traded it in for the 11th gen Type R last July. I'm fresh to Hondata, but it's essentially the same (narrator: no it's not) with quite a bit more adjustability maps. I was finally able to get it unlocked at a Hondata Jailbreak event last Saturday and loaded the 93-Octane Hondata basemap with revhang delete. I had about 5500 miles before the tune, and nearly 5800ish miles since tuning (done a lot of driving the last few days). It's quite remarkable how much it improves the powerband and holds boost, and especially how much it improves the driving experience with the removal of revhang. I'll also note that my mpg's went up quite significantly, where I was averaging 18-20mpg, for this tank I'm seeing 200 miles before the fuel light has even come on. The computer is calculating 25+, but we'll see where it actually lands.

I plan to replace the downpipe, front pipe, and intercooler eventually. Hopefully this plays a little nicer with highflow cats than the N/A did.

Total tuned time: 3 days

Tuned miles driven: 40 miles

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V1.2

Tunes used: Pherable stage 2

Fuel used: 93 octane (tuned for 91)

Additional related mods: PRL HVI intake, remark quad exhaust

Problems/issues: first 20 miles, had high K.Con but now has stable .55-65, might have to do for still driving on my last gallon of 87OCT.

Driving style: Aggressive pulls

Tuning experience notes: not much sound change but can definitely feel the pulls harder at high rpm thanks to the tune making the VTEC, kick in at lower rpm. (Will update after another 500 Miles)
Any updates? Hows's the K.Con?

Tuned miles driven: ~30,000

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V2

Tunes used: ktuner basempas, phearable stage 2 (both versions)

Fuel used: 94 octane

Additional related mods: PRL HVI, function werk exhaust, function werk Frontpipe, RV6 downpipe

Problems/issues: put in a combination of bad fuel and too much e85, burnt out cat and caused knock control to rise

Driving style: spirited and a lot of aggressive bursts

Tuning experience notes: pops and bangs tune from phearable wasn't the best after the wrong fuel I put in, but the non pops and bangs version was amazing. Outside of the fuel issue and the bad cat, car ran great with zero issues. Transmission was at its limit though.

Definitely will, not sure the number I'm looking for in terms of HP, but I'd like to hit the limit of the stock fueling system at least.

I know many of you here come from owning a 10th gen Civic and are likely aware of the original tuning experience and reliability thread at the CivicX forum. We have nearly 1,500 tuned owners participating there.

Here, we only have 69. And while I know fewer 11th gen Civics are tuned, 69 tuned owners is a very low number.

If you're tuned, consider being a part of this project. I know there are plenty of owners on the fence regarding tuning and this thread might just help them decide one way or another. But, we need more tuned owners adding their cars and adding updates here.
