15% ceramic all the way around, 80% on windshield

How did you manage to tint 50% front windshield? isn't it illegal? From what I know 70% of VLT is the minimum legal tint limit in many states for front windshield. Like the color of your car50 front screen / 40 middle 4 / 20 rear hatch - 3M Crystalline

I might have to steal this to a T.Llumar FormulaOne Pinnacle 25% on sides/rear and Llumar AIR Blue 80 on front.

Enjoy the heat and fishbowl sirI don't know why dealers put tint on the vehicle. I'm really not a fan of window tint. Looks tacky and ghetto in my opinion.
They put tint on these cars to increase their margins. It's the same reason they add other options like LoJack, ResistAll, ppf, wheel locks, etc. There's nothing complex about it.I don't know why dealers put tint on the vehicle. I understand the profit margin part and as you know dealers push numbers and sales and profits so cars are just another item to push through. Cars to customers can be more of an emotional thing but dealers don't look at it the same way of course. They put tint on these cars to increase their margins. I agree with you on tint in some respect. It can look tacky and in a lot of cases it does. Film with a low VLT kills the look of any car IMHO. And I'm not anti-window tint. Some cars I tint, others I do not.
Thank goodness the windows roll down and the AC works in the car.Enjoy the heat and fishbowl sir![]()
Dude, I have no words lmfaoThank goodness the windows roll down and the AC works in the car.
Damn and you live in Plano? Props to you! I live in SoCal and I couldn't wait to get tint. I think they help a lot in keeping the car cool when it's hot. I happen to like how it looks afterwards too.Thank goodness the windows roll down and the AC works in the car.
Nice looking car. Yes, I agree. It does help with keeping the car cool a lot. I think there is a very light form of factory tint already coming on the windows for all new vehicles if I'm not mistaken. I like the transparency and clarity through the windows without the tint. Good point, there should be an additional factory option for tint for like $299 or $399. I'm not a fan of when the dealers do it themselves because they're just trying to churn out numbers instead of focusing on quality and consistency.Damn and you live in Plano? Props to you! I actually wish the cars came with tint from the factory. Had to get 70% windshield + 20% all around after the fact. Kind of whack considering it's an "Acura" ... meanwhile my lowly Chevy truck came with factory tint for the rear.
Factory tint is pretty basic and serves more to increase privacy over reducing heat. The darker glass absorbs more of the solar energy and radiates some of it outward, but rarely uses the technology in modern (ceramic) window films.Nice looking car. Yes, I agree.
