LogR has tons of nice data, BUT it's slow and usually sync between video and data are off, and there's no way to extract the data to use somewhere else.

Solo Storm is probably the best choice in terms of logger for AutoX and CircuitStorm for Tracks.

I am the driver in car 156. I struggled to get on schedule day 2 and my codriver was on fire but I am really happy with the car.

Setup has been pretty simple. Karcepts thick bar in the back at full stiff, 275 bstones, zero toe front and rear. I still have the stock exhaust on it, it was like watching a Tesla leave the line it was so quiet.
275 on the stock 19s?

Anyone know the mapping needed in solostorm to get braking telemetry from the FL5?

Howdy FL5 autocrossers. If you think the FL5 Type R should be in a different Street class I would really recommend you write a letter to the SEB soon supporting a more competitive class for the car.

Myself and I know some others have written letters this year. Likely the window for the advisory committee to consider a change for next year is shrinking. More support can't hurt.

Is it really not competitive? CTRs took 4th, 7th and 8th at nationals. What would be the reasoning it is not competitive in B Street?

DS ran the heat right before BS so the times were comparable at nationals. The same set of times would have placed the FL5s 2nd, 4th, and 6th in DS.

It is my opinion that the FL5 is much closer to speed to the FK8 and should be classed together than the FL5 is to the Supra. My understanding of part of why it went to BS initially was because the availability of the car initially was low (high markups above MSRP) and they didn't want the car to have for DS to be impossible to get. That is no longer the case.

If you share that opinion let the SEB know. If not, no worries.

I see your point. Thank you for pointing that out to me. I have also just submitted a request.

Based on what we saw with 2024 Nats, I think there is good argument the FL5 would not be an overdog in DS.
