Wanted to follow up with everyone now that I’ve got some miles on the RSRs. My install shop did some final height adjustments and it’s looking great…I’ve paired some H&R 15mm spacers as well which were a game changer. The rear clunking noise has been resolved so the only additional NVH associated with this set-up is limited to some slight clicking noises from the springs themselves but to be honest, it’s very faint and I have the same on some Carbahn springs for another vehicle. Overall, I can recommend the RSRs for anyone looking for a fast street/canyon setup with occasional track days. You’re likely going to want something more hardcore (ie KW clubsport level) for a dedicated track car.

I also had the Spoon rigid collars installed and highly recommend that for anyone doing coilovers. Before the collars were installed, the coilovers highlighted some shudder in the chassis over bumps. That’s all been eliminated and the chassis feels solid post-install. Also think the collars made the front end slightly more quick to respond to steering inputs.

Looks good!
I’m also on RSR coils and have the same clicky sound on the front right side of the car ☹

Nice write up. This is on the list of to do's, blackhawkjapan seems to have a crazy price on these compared to others.

Nice, thanks for the picture. I've been looking at these since the ride quality of my springs make me hate driving this car haha.
Just answered my own question. From everything I've read, the Swift Springs really ruin the ride. I've been contemplating springs, but don't want to trash the ride either, as I drive A LOT. Is Spoon the best bet then?

Swift springs ride fine... I just had FK8 springs and ran too much camber. The ride quality was not good.

Swift springs that are designed for the FL5 are great. Also... this car doesn't ride good to begin with so it doesn't hurt the ride THAT much. Just wanted to clear that up.

I think Swift or Eibach are the best spring choices.

I agree. Factory ride is a bit rough. I changed to DE5 module and it made a world of difference. Looks like Eibach pro-kit is the winner.

Apologies I just saw this. I’m not certain what my installer did to resolve the rear noise but I’m assuming it was lengthening the helper spring so nothing was unseating on inclines or other scenarios with droop.

@E90076 Hey i was going through threads and looking for more info about the RS*R coilovers. If I buy these this would be my first time. Is the 36 way adjustable is that stiffness or just height since it mentions that it's works with the systems ADS.

or if anyone else with the RS*R coilovers could help answer I'd appreciate it!

I cant remember how many damper settings there are, but there are many. They are also height adjustable if that’s what you’re trying to confirm.

Stiffness, the height is adjustable too. I'm running these on my FL5, I love them. I have them in stock too.
