Reverse Gear not showing Back-up camera

I encountered a problem with the reverse gear not showing up on the dash or popping up the back-up camera, I’m still able to reverse, just not getting any of those. Problem started happening yesterday…

Yeah I have, I also disconnected the battery 2 times and nothing at all unfortunately… Out of nowhere it thinks im in 1st while reversing.. I might have to take it to the dealer.

do you know by any chance if the R symbol shows up on your cluster gauge when going in reverse?

It does after you start to move in reverse.

Interesting, I saw a video from TheTopher and when he went in reverse. No R, showed up on his cluster either

Could just be a coupler that came unset. I'd say just take it to the dealer.

Interesting I was wondering if I was tripping or not that I ever had an R reverse symbol on the cluster lmao… Dealer unfortunately said they’re unable to replicate it/find it on other Type R models according to the Tech’s note… The fuse was the problem for the back up camera

Oh nice ok cool, fuse bad or what exactly what went wrong? My next question qould be why the fuse went bad. Hopefully you don't see it again!

Blackvue dashcam caused the fuse to burn out, only had the dashcam on for 2 months
